Two perspectives on
fire apparatus attack
A large, almost 200-year-old church in West Orange, New Jersey, was consumed in a three-alarm fire that required mutual aid
from several neighboring departments. Montclair (NJ) Fire Department Engine 3, a 2000 Pierce Dash with a 1,500-gallon-per-minute
pump, supplied a tower ladder that hit the “B“ side of the structure. No injuries were reported, but the church was a complete loss.
